![]() These state that the servers are back online following the outage last weekend. The post on Steam for Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem servers has details on a new version 1.0.4.0 patch that's now live in WOLCEN Studio's action/RPG. ![]() There is a gallery of 4K images in this article well worth viewing. However, the game does look stunning so I guess it somehow justifies these high GPU requirements. For comparison purposes, Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem runs a bit slower but looks significantly better than Darksiders: Genesis. So yeah, Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is a bit more demanding than your usual action RPGs. Still, and despite those drops, the game felt really smooth on our G-Sync monitor. ![]() The reason I used the word “almost” is because there are some rare scenes in which our framerate dropped to 50fps. In terms of performance, our NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080Ti was almost able to push a 60fps experience on Very High settings in 4K. As such, it’s really fascinating witnessing this game pushing the graphical boundaries of action RPGs. We also used Windows 10 64-bit and the GeForce 442.19 driver. Now I should note that this is a game from a small team that has been in Early Access for a while. Naturally, we’ve paired this machine with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080Ti. In fact, the game can – at some times – look as good as the pre-release footage of Diablo 4. In order to capture the following screenshots, we used an Intel i9 9900K with 16GB of DDR4 at 3600Mhz. Powered by CRYENGINE, this indie game pushes some of the best graphics we’ve seen in an action RPG. Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is a new action RPG that fully released on the PC a few days ago.
